Amazing smooth track of the new Afro Samurai album. RZA made a supreme beat. The lyrics are alright, but fit the beat great.
Amazing beat. Sounds really classy.

You probably remember some talk of the 3rd installment of The Getaway, for the PS3 & some of you may not remember, but the ones who did, Eight Days. I personally never was a fan of The Getaway series and when Hiphopgamer asked me to write this story, I will admit, I was a bit skeptical, but now, here I am. If you don’t remember, well Getaway didn’t have videos (that I recall), but heres some footage of Eight Days, Click Here To View.Wikipedia shows the game was canceled do to no online capabilities. This is false however, the true reason, as stated by Sony, was because these to games were taking too big a budget and too much time in production. Sony had to already split their budget with games already further down the production line such as Uncharted, Untold Legends, MotorStorm, Warhawk, Lair(unfortunately), Heavenly Sword, Killzone 2 and a few others. This comes to mind, if Killzone 2 is as successful as everyone hopes it will be, can one of these games be resurrected? Eight days would be my choice to bring back, though many people would agree with The Getaway, since it had a bigger install base since there was actually two games prior to the latest version.
Although no specs of The Getaway were announced, Eight Days had some interesting stuff. The game was to be set over the course of eight days and to be set in eight different states. That would mean Eight Days would have the largest game map to date. The game would have also included a real life clock; for example: if the game was being played at night, it would be night in the game and in those aspects. You would have been able to choose between two characters, one “good” and one “bad”. In the “bad” character’s storyline, he attempts to get revenge on a mob syndicate. The other storyline would follow the “good” character, a detective searching for the same mob syndicate, after he kidnaps his son. The two characters end up crossing paths, and eventually work together.
If Sony can continue this onslaught of exclusives with great sales behind them just imagine the potential of game development on Sony’s big black box for the up and coming months and years. Hopefully Killzone 2 gives Sony a change of heart for these games.

The ESA has released an up-to-date list of publishers attending E3 this year, and it looks like the old dog might be back on top after what many considered a lacklustre two years of deliberately downsized events.
All the obvious names will be attending, from Activision Blizzard to Konami to Ubisoft, so we can probably expect many big game announcement once E3 2009 rolls around… mind you, that won’t be until June!

It looks like North Americans aren’t the only ones getting the demo for the highly anticipated
Killzone 2. Sony Europe has confirmed that this Thurdays PSN store update will contain the demo and it will feature the first sections of the first level “Corinth River” and a training sequence also. If you ask me this is great move on Sony’s part because it looked like North Americans were going to be the only ones with the beta (via pre-order codes) but now it looks like everyones gonna be able to experience Killzone 2 before it drops at the end of the month. Good job Sony way to show the Europeans some love.
