REALLY?! Sony?!

So the worst thing ever happened to me last week. I am not kidding you, it was the worst thing that ever happened to me, a gamer. I turned on my PS3 and instead of that familiar warm humming sound it makes when it boots up, I received a YELLOW LIGHT!! After the yellow light subsided, it continued to blink red lights without ever powering on. Expletives were said, pillows were being punched, and blood pressure was rising. So immediately the next thing I tried was to eject Killzone 2 out of the blu-ray drive. Let me just say…no avail.
For those that don’t know the yellow light blinking on a PS3 is more or less the equivalent of the Red Ring of Death on the 360. So being the rational person that I am, I immediately phoned Sony Customer Service. After a 30 minute conversation an understanding was reached. Sony sends me a box. I put my PS3 inside the box. I mail the box to them….with 150 dollars!? Why!? I have had my PS3 for less then 15 months. I take care of it as if it were my own child. Why must I pay $150, for them to fix their own hardware failure!? It’s not like I broke it. The technical problem is that the GPU and CPU lining has some cracks within the mainframe walls, ie, IT OVERHEATED. Okay, so what. Sony punishes me, because I bought a product from them, and it broke because I used it too much. Logical…or fallacy? Fallacy for the win!
Sony, at least Microsoft fixes their own 360’s hardware failure for free!
I am LIVID! It has been at least a week since I have last signed on the PSN and I am starting to see double. I don’t know what I want to do yet…help me decide?
