Andy McNamara, Editor-In-Chief at Game Informer, confirmed today on the Bonus Round that the upcoming issue of Game Informer will feature Modern Warfare 2 on it’s cover. The magazine will go in-depth on the game  right before e3, giving gamers a good taste on whats two come from Infinity Ward’s upcoming game.

McNamara also gave the game some praise, while not revealing any details, by saying that Modern Warfare 2 could be a very good contender for both game of the year and game of the show:

“I think it’s very, very possible. I would say it’s contender. Infinity Ward is a developer that go the extra mile but they went a 100 extra miles with this one.”

A look back on Kane and Lynch: Dead Men:

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men was an incredible game. While it lacked nex-gen caliber in the graphics department, it made it up for it in gameplay and story. The story opens up with Kane writing a letter to his daughter Jenny, telling her he regrets being a mercenary and not being able to be a part of her life. The player soon finds out that Kane is en-route to death row after being convicted of some serious crimes. Lynch (another death row inmate) hints at Kane that something big is about to go down. The truck that they’re on is suddenly in a collision and unknown group of mercenaries set them free.

The player later finds out that group belongs to a bigger organization call “The7“. Now this is when the story gets interesting. Kane was supposedly part of “The7″ during a mission that went down in Venezuela. Somehow, the mission went bad and Kane ended up escaping leaving the remainder survivors of “The7” to die. If that wasn’t enough, Kane also escaped with a large sum of cash that was suppose to be split amongst the group. The remaining four of “The7” weren’t to exciting with Kane’s actions and vowed to seek their revenge. They gave Kane three weeks to retrieve the stolen property or his wife and daughter will be killed.

Lynch is there to act as a watchdog and report back to “The7” on how Kane is progressing. The only problem there is that, Lynch is a psycho-path. If  he doesn’t take his happy pills, well…you get the picture. I don’t want to get into too much detail about this title for the players who haven’t experienced the game yet, but for the players that have, get ready for another epic experience, because Kane and Lynch 2 has been confirmed.

Kane and Lynch 2 confirmed:

Ladies and gentleman, IO Interactive’s controversial game is returning to the PS3 and Xbox 360, with a sequel to the blockbuster hit Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. Kane and Lynch fans need to check out issue 120 of the “PSW” with exclusives details on Interactive’s new title.

What does Kane and Lynch 2 need to surpass its predecessor?:

1. Kane and Lynch 2 needs a better covering system. Hopefully Interactive puts a cover button to give the player a little bit more freedom. Not to say the covering system was awful in the first game, it just wasn’t as responsive as it should have been.

2. Seeing how the new Batman game is shaping up to be, I wouldn’t mind seeing a more advance stealth mechanic in Kane and Lynch 2.

Closing comments:

I enjoyed the first title a lot and I can’t wait to see what Interactive has in store for us with the sequel. But I want know what you guys think. What would you like to see in Kane and Lynch 2? Please leave your comments.

Infamous is a game that has long been awaited and had already gone gold. The release date of the game is set to be May 26. There are many ways why Infamous is a great game:

I. Good and Evil
With the fact that you can rather choose to become evil and destroy what is left in the city, or you can become good and save what is left. When evil, your electrical powers are red and you begin to look more like a villain. When you’re a hero, your electrical powers are blue and you look the same. Being evil also includes the fact that your attacks are for killing enemies while being good is more to trap or capture them. For example, the electrical grenade for the evil side blows up and kills all the enemies around while the good electrical grenade blows up and traps the enemies around the area.

II. Open-World/ PlayStation 3 Exclusive
This is the first ever open-world exclusive for the PlayStation3. With the game being open world, you will be able to just cause mayhem or stop the mayhem happening in the city. With a reactive environment and population, you can experience complete freedom to explore an open interactive city.

III. City Ecology
Watch all the citizens of Empire City react and evolve depending on the players’ actions. Events will unfold based on the role players take in them. For example, if you are just wandering through the city, killing civilians or destroying something, then the civilians will get scared and run from you.

IV. Story Line
The story for Infamous is looking to be very promising. With the beginning of the bomb disrupting your DNA in order to give you your electrical power is a good start. The best part of the story mode is the fact that it isn’t really planed. If you become bad, then the entire game changes. Also, the fact that it is open-world, the game works on your pace, you don’t have to play the story unless you want to.

With all the topics listed above, you know why you should get Infamous and have a good time destroying or saving what’s left of Empire City.
