Burnout since day one has been a monster racing title. Graphics are top notch, Gameplay is fast, sweet , and solid. The features in the game are incredible especially the ability to use the Playstation Eye camera and Xbox Vision Camera, which snaps photos while you crash an opponent. Although the game since day one provided a great value with all the DLC that has been released. Now is really the time to say WOW. Now we have Big Surf Island and all you have to do is look at the trailer to understand that your Burnout Purchase never went to waste.

To all my fellow gamers out there I would like to say, the statement posted by Microsoft was nothing more than a publicity stunt to turn the attention back on Microsoft’s camp. Microsoft’s press conference is June 1, 2009, which is this upcoming Monday, so you do the math. The article posted earlier is in no shape or form to spark up these pointless flamebait wars. Even though this a huge success to Microsoft, it means nothing to gamers. If they can’t provide the blockbuster hits that mentioned earlier in their statement, then that means they suckered 30 million users.

Xbox owners can now enjoy the Fight Night Round 4 demo, which is currently availalbe to gold members on Xbox Live. The demo, which is the same one given to people who preordered the game, is 784 MB and features Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton. The PS3 demo will be available next week.

TOMY Makes First Appearance at E3 Showcasing Its High Quality Portfolio of Video Games for Gamers of All Ages

TOMY Corporation, announced today it will be unveiling two new titles based on the popular NARUTO™ Shippuden series, NARUTO™ Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 for Wii™ and NARUTO™ Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 for Nintendo DS™ at the upcoming 2009 E3 Expo in Los Angeles, June 2-4. NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is an exciting new fighting game based on the hit NARUTO Shippuden series from VIZ Media. Exclusively for Wii, the classic 3D fighting game features new and improved gameplay mechanics and multiple gameplay modes, and for the first time, includes Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities. The game follows the storyline of NARUTO Shippuden and features over 30 characters who have been upgraded with more sophisticated new looks and character-specific jutsu moves. The game offers more than 40 3D environments to choose from, including nine completely new stages. NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is scheduled to release in fall 2009.

UFC 2009 Undisputed is a good game but an overall disappointment to me. My first problem is in the legendary fights mode. The announcers are talking about things that happened in the past fight of the two fighters, I mean aren’t you supposed to playing that exact fight and trying to create the same outcome? If I am playing a so called legendary fight that is suppose to have taken place in the past why the hell am I listing to commentary that takes place in the future?

The game does not truly represent each fighters trues fighting style. A prime example of this is Lyoto the Dragon Machida famous for being the only fighter in the UFC that uses an incredible Karate style when he fights. Instead they just gave him kick boxing for his fighting style instead of karate.

When you start a match you don’t see the fighters actually walk down the runway and enter the ring. Also the fighters do not talk at all, I mean let’s hear some trash talk or taunts between the fighters. In fact  the only voice I can recall hearing is Quinton Rampage Jackson’s howl.

The voice chat at times does’nt work at all, which I don’t understand at all because in fighting games trash talking is a sure thing and it makes the overall experience more enjoyable when you can insult your friends when fighting eachother. The campaign was a let down in some ways because I thought it might have been something like The Ultimate Fighter, where you have to live in house and train to win the competition to get a UFC contract.  Instead you get a generic create a fighter mode at the beginning and you just train and fight with no real excitement between any of your fights.

But putting all the flaws aside its still and amazing game and I just hope that some sort update or DLC will be released that will change some of my problems I had with the game. But then again if it does’nt happen there’s always next year.

The Ballad of Gay Tony? Eh, it doesn’t seem that upsetting to me, but according to some sources on the internet it seems to have upset some people. This isn’t new in the GTA series because Sam and Dan Houser love pissing people off, and that’s why we love them. This title though is interesting. Not too many games, maybe no game, has had gay in the title and basically broadcasted that the game will focus on a gaycentric world.

I mean does this really surprise anyone? It was bound to happen both because the world is becoming more accepting to different lifestyles (slowly but surely) and that GTA has always pushed the bounds when it comes to what is expected in video games. Drugs, sex, and violence has already made it’s staple in GTA, so what was the next step? Honestly, this idea seems like it could be a lot of fun. I mean this could bring out a lot of humor in the game, and help balance the very serious tone that was set in the Lost & Damned. Plus it’s GTA! Violence, sex, and drugs mixed with Rockstar’s sense of humor in a gay storyline  could be a fun experience.

Of course though the guys at Fox News or the over serious game nerds on the internet will be upset by this. In GTA they are used to their macho thugs who are out to kick ass. The guys at Fox News will have a field day with this, but who gives a damn because those guys just hate on whatever Rockstar and GTA does. People are saying this might hurt sales because parents wont want to buy their kids the retail bundle of this with Lost and Damned or let them buy it off Xbox Live. Really? I mean isn’t the GTA name already known by everyone to be a mature game. If the game is good it will sell because there is a mature audience out there who loves the GTA experience.

Basically, it’s GTA and everyone has an idea on what to expect from this new episode in the GTA IV series. People continue to complain when GTA adds real world things into a artificial medium. All things present in GTA IV happen in the real world and gamers along with the right-wing media needs to accept that. The Houser’s are really creating a living-breathing world around GTA IV filled with immigrants, biker gangs, and now gay club hoppers. As long as the game is fun then really, does the name matter?
