News:

The Joker Vs Jigsaw what a combination that’s about to hit the videogame industry in full force. First we have Batman: Arkhum Asylum and later this year coming we have Saw: The Videogame, and the most attractive features between these too games are the twisted minds of The Joker and Jigsaw.

In Batman consumers will be able to actually use the Joker character in the Playstation 3 version which will add to the suspense, but as far as the overall story will The Joker be able to outshine Jigsaw and The Saw Series? Let’s break this down.

E3 2009 has come and gone but both of these games made a notable presence on the show floor. On one side Jigsaw always give you a chance to live but the interesting thing about this game is that it’s not just you. There could be 5 people walking around at times you may bump into other characters , you might make a decision which will cost another character their life which will in turn save yours and vice versa.

This game is over the top suspenseful and it takes the place of the Danny Glover character in Saw 1 which is amazing, because he died in the movie but in this game you actually play it out so this is truly a new Jigsaw experience. To compliment The Joker Jigsaw traps you in a Asylum as well in this videogame so it will be very interesting to see which mind is the most twisted. Jigsaw is the kind of person who wants to help you appreciate life by using the possibility of death which is incredible but The Joker wants to kill you just for the sake of laughter and being a high class criminal using clever tactics that a normal man can’t comprehend.

The Joker has trapped Batman in his Asylum and the object is to KILL THE BATMAN. The Joker will set traps as well , control the minds of others to do his dirty work and more. This Batman Game will be unlike any we’ve ever seen because Bruce Wayne will have the ultimate test against the most infamous criminal in comic book history
“WHY SO SERIOUS” we will see how serious later this year.

This year we will see two blockbuster games , two blockbuster characters, with blockbuster blood all over their hands. So I know ask you who has the sickest and most twisted mind.

Leave your comments , Watch The Video, and in my opinion the winner goes too The Joker. Why? Because A man who has no interest in saving a life only wants to destroy it if they can’t control it.

Uncharted 2: E3 and Beta Impressions

Posted by MattG | Previews, Real Talk with the HipHopGamer, Sony | Tuesday 9 June 2009 3:56 am

At the Sony Press Conference only one game took the collective breath out of the room, and that game was Uncharted 2. While games like God of War III and Gran Turismo 5 got the fans all excited and on the edge of their seat, when the shot of Drake overlooking the destoryed city went on the screen people just sat there in graphic-whore awe. The game looks absolutely beautiful.

The single player experience looks even better than the original with improved graphics, better animations, and all the things that made the first game great. The single player footage I got to see was basically what you’ve seen either before E3 or at the Sony press conference. Basically it looks great, and there isn’t much doubt that the 2nd game will be better than the first. The first one was one of the better games made in 2007, and now with the game having a well known name in the market hopefully this game will get even more love from the masses.

Let’s get to what we’ve all gotten our hands on though and that is the multi-player/co-op. A new addition to the franchise, but a welcomed one. One of the few gripes with the first game was that after you beat it there was no real reason to go back. Now with the ability to play with and against friends replayability will be much higher. Though people were worried if these features would just be tacked on and not a quality product. Well after playing the multi-player and co-op since E3, I can assure you that the online features are quality products.

Let’s start off with co-op. Following the same path as Resistance 2 the co-op mode will be completely separate from the single player, and will allow players to experience something new. Talking to Justin Richmond of Naughty Dog he said that the co-op will have different story elements from the single player. Besides just playing with your friends, you will also be able to delve yourself deeper into the Uncharted universe. You will be able to play with up  to two of your other friends.

My experience with the multi-player has overall been a great one. The graphic transition from single player to multi-player has been a smooth one, and Richmond states that it was very important to the team to make sure the game would look the same on both the single and multi-player. The idea from multi-player started with the team just tinkering around with the idea, but after testing out they saw how much fun it really was. While the game is no Call of Duty it is one of the better third person shooter multi-players and in my opinion is better than the experience currently in Gears of War 2. The mobility and agility in the game offers an experience that gamers usually don’t see in online shooters. The plunder mode is a nice change of pace for capture the flag.

So far so good from what I’ve seen and played on Uncharted 2. The expierence is different and fresh, but beautiful and well made. The online features look good will bring the game some muhcn needed replyability. Uncharted 2 drops this Fall for the Playstation 3.

Three Games That Were M.I.A At This Years E3 (Part 2)

Posted by PAYBACK-IRONMAN | Microsoft, Real Talk with the HipHopGamer, Sony | Tuesday 9 June 2009 12:16 am

When reading DaSolidProof’s recent “Three Games That Were M.I.A At This Years E3″ article it got me thinking about other games that were not present or seen by the public at this years E3. So now I think I’ll give my three games that were M.I.A at this years E3.

1. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

There were so many great fighting games shown at E3, yet this one was no where to be seen. It just shocked me to see that this beautiful gem didn’t have it’s own booth because this is coming to us from the creators of the smash hit Guilty Gear franchise. I just hope that when this is released this month, people will take notice to it and hopefully give it the appreciation that its looking to deserve.

2. Heavy Rain

Just a week before E3 we saw brand new gameplay footage of a very cinematic fight between two of the characters that will be in game, it just made me wonder why Quantic Dreams didn’t make this playable on the show floor or even reveal more gameplay footage for that matter. I was really let down because I’ve been waiting for ages to finally get my hands on Heavy Rain and see if this will be the game that can revolutionize the video game industry.

3. Mass Effect 2

Yes I know Mass Effect 2 was behind closed doors at E3 but because of that people didn’t really seem to be talking much about it. Another thing that seemed odd was the fact that it wasn’t even shown during the Microsoft press confrence. I mean this is one of the Xbox 360’s biggest exclusives and I wonder why Microsoft and Bioware wouldn’t make this playable or even show a new trailer for that matter in an attempt to give the game the hype that it deserves. I guess we’ll just have to wait until Bioware’s ready to give us more info on their new sc-fi epic.

Did Microsoft Destroy OnLive Before Launch?

Posted by hiphopgamer | Microsoft, PC, Real Talk with the HipHopGamer | Tuesday 9 June 2009 12:08 am

News:

When OnLive was first announced the concept was striking and a smart move in the right direction for the video game industry.

At GDC they had a booth showcasing how you can have a system without a console along with other major features such as Games On Demand, Playing Online, Multi-media capabilities and so much more.

Publishers signed on to the OnLive concept and they also looked at the money making factor considering there’s no disc, everything is online which will eliminate the foul play Gamestop has towards developers in this industry. Things seemed to be on the way up for the OnLive system but something happen which possibly destroyed the chances of OnLive being a reality on the market.

At GDC it was announced that OnLive will hit the market Fall 2009 with 16 games and more features but recently at the biggest stage in the gaming business E3’09 OnLive was a no show. All they had there was stickers promoting OnLive nothing else, no booth , no games, no new announcements.

Sounds strange doesn’t it especially when your getting ready to release a product this year but, that’s just it the product may not be coming at all.

The reason for this is MICROSOFT XBOX360, during the press briefing Games On Demand was announced as well as instant HD for movie playback which is more than just a dagger to the chest of OnLive it’s more like a FATALITY.

Microsoft has now added OnLive’s main selling point to a console and it’s already been demoed for people and the feed back so far has been positive.

This move has really boosted Microsoft in such a big way that we may never see the light of day with OnLive, and with a price point at $199 OnLive seems to be dead before it was ever alive.

Microsoft once again rises to the occasion with their wallets and software resources to remain on top and crush the competition.

This Fall we will be able to have Games On Demand and shortly after we will be able to experience Instant On Games as well as Movies without any disc or downloads this is amazing.
