EA is the second biggest publisher in the world and although they have tons of hits, the Need For Speed series has not been there best offering lately. Need For Speed pro street and undercover were both underwhelming titles but the third times the charm with Need For Speed Shift.

Playing this game at E3 was great, the controls were tight, the graphics was solid, great crash effects simply a major step up from previous titles this generation. Now that Need For Speed is looking brighter EA says that

“Forza, I’m very confident we have a better game than them to be honest. Talking to the press, looking at the nominations, that’s clear. So, I’m glad that they’re confident but I’m as confident as they are.”

Those are some bold words coming from EA considering the failure of Need For Speed this generation so far but, Forza is a incredible game. Both of these games are going to be released this year and the proof will be in the pudding and as of right now from what the people are saying and the vibe at E3’09 presented, Need For Speed Is in top form and being able to level up in the game is such a great addition, giving users the RPG feeling in a racing game is very unique.

Forza 3 is no slouch and it’s coming guns blazing and even the mighty Gran Turismo along with the new Need For Speed will have to take notice before they get shot down and Forza 3 becomes king of the racing genre.
