Sorry but all the hype of this title’s graphics are just plain FORCED hype. That game looks like it could be the sequel to Alone in the Dark cause they look very similar graphically but I’ve read some out right nut jobs saying the graphics surpass Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain… that’s pure madness.
Hey thugbot187, could you please point out to me on any vid you’ve seen of this game where you saw gaming physics we’ve not seen before. Please I’m serious cause I’ve not seen anything about this game that’s not been done on other multiplat games this gen when it comes to graphics, physics or lighting and even the animations are choppy like most multiplat games. Like I said before, it looks like a sequel to Alone in the Dark and there’s nothing extraordinary that grabs me about this game.
Looks like it could be a fun gaming experience but so did Alone in the Dark ’till you got it in your hands on it and played it cause it just felt a bit off in gameplay. Hopefully this one will be smoother but still, there is absolutely nothing special I’ve seen of this game at all other it possibly being a decent survival horror game.
Plus, we now see it isn’t an open world experience but has the same pacing as other games in it’s genre. It looks like the 360 fanbase have been starved for new AAA IP and since this is all they got, they’re going to hype this thing to mind blowing proportions anyways even though it’s just a regular normal good looking game.
Isn’t it fishy to anybody else how this game has been in dev for 5yrs and we still don’t have a playable demo for the general gaming media or public? by the time this game comes out it’ would be 6yrs in development, that’s crazy.
For me the verdict is still out on Alan Wake, I’m going to have to see a whole lot more to make a ruling if the game is really that tight. The physics were on a new level, but story and graphics haven’t wowed me yet. I guess from all the hype I was expecting Crysis or KZ2 graphics, but I’ve only seen this as video online up close game play is always better.
I’m not impressed. At All! I think their conference would have had a bigger bang, had they left this game out. They should have had people still guessing about this game. I know a lot of you are going to say… “yo that joint look crazy” lol like the dude above (No offense dawg). That’s because everyone is brain washed to think this is going to be the best 360 exclusive. But this game disappoints me on so many different levels.

i’m looking forward to this game, looks like a real survival horror.
But I’m still sure it’ll fail like the rest of the games that took too long to come out
