My favorite gaming franchises next entry continues to look better and better with all the new images and videos they’ve been releasing. These screens come from Famitsu, the Japanese gaming magazine, and highlight the white haired kid named Hope Estheim. They also feature some appearances from Sazh, the black dude, and Vanille, the red haired teenage chick. Can’t wait for this game to be released in Spring of 2010.

Microsoft has stated that the Xbox360 isn’t even halfway through their consoles life cycle which is great but, according to John Carmack the issue is getting tougher and if more developers start running into this same problem will Xbox360 finally start receiving the bad ports as the PS3 received early on.

Rage and Doom are going to be big titles utilizing the newest technology from ID software. Considering the amazing BRINK that wowed the crowd at E3 the Xbox360 shouldn’t have anything to worry about or does it? see now tons of developers know what the Playstation 3 can do and even better they know the advantages over the Xbox360 rival console. This can pose a problem for Microsoft because developers not only want to make money but they want to have their game perform the best on the best machine out there in terms of power which is the Playstation 3.

Seriously no one can ignore the install base and online friendly service of xboxlive so exclusives may be out the window but quality may now become a factor and the Playstation 3 may very well lead the way for the rest of this generation simply cause of extra storage and overall processing power.

In the past Sony’s PR squad always use to say that certain games couldn’t be done on Xbox360 and yet Microsoft managed to show titles running on their platform such as Splinter Cell, Forza 3, and Final Fantasy 13. Microsoft has shown and proved but it seems like this trend may end, already the CRYENGINE 3 is said to be more advanced on the PS3, Rage and Doom 4 will be superior on the PS3, and the announcement of AGENT goes to show that even Rockstar recognizes the potential as well as the missed opportunity of the Playstation 3 console.

There’s still a ton of time to go before this console war is over but if Rage and Doom 4 is anything to go by considering the future of this current generation then, all gamers are in for some amazing quality games and the competition is in for a long battle.

Nintendo is transforming New York’s famed Military Island in Times Square into an urban island getaway to celebrate the launch of the Wii Sports Resort video game. On July 23, anyone who visits this Manhattan landmark will be treated to a mini-vacation, complete with a sandy beach, swimming pool and tropical lounge – all smack dab in the middle of the city – plus a chance to play Wii Sports Resort in advance of its U.S. July 26 release date. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is definitely hitting store shelves this fall on October 13, 2009. That‘s right ladies and gentleman, the sequel to one of the highly anticipated titles on the PS3 is only the three months away. So I advice you to work some overtime so you’re able to purchase this title and witness this masterpiece when it is release.

Uncharted 2 will feature new gameplay mechanics, such as stealth action segments, and will change the climbing mechanic to allow free movement over walls, in a manner similar to Assassin’s Creed. What we witness as this year’s E3, Nathan will be able to flip over certain pieces of furniture to use as cover. The game will supposedly have to no loading screens, but we will have to wait and see that. Nathan himself will have a darker side in this outing, adding more depth to the campaign mode. The player will learn what makes him a thief. Naughty Dog’s goal is to the maximize the utilization of the Cell’s SPUs. The game is expected to have more realistic environments and animations.
