Kaz Hirai To Headline Sony at TGS 09

The Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner and we’ve already got some news regarding Sony’s keynote speech. Kaz Hirai who is the Sony Computer Entertainment CEO will be delivering the big speech and its titled “Sony Computer Entertainment’s 2009 Strategy.”

Hirai’s speech will take place on September 24 from 10:30 to 11:30 and it will be followed be several other keynote speeches from Capcom, Square Enix and many more. Hopefully we’ll see some major announcements regarding hardware or new games, but I’m sure that most people would like to see an announcement regarding the PS3 slim. We’ll just have to wait until September 24 when the TGS kicks off in full gear.

Marvel Super Hero Squad Details

Marvel Super Hero Squad is the perfect fit for kids and adults. This game will feature 20 playable characters along with 8 single player campaigns. This is going to be a fun brawler and multi-player mash up.

Based on the new cartoon which has the same name fans will enjoy watching the show then jumping right into the action on their home console or portable platform. This game is coming to the Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, and PSP in October.

Wolverine, Iron Man, Falcon, and others have a special campaign that you can play through adding great value to the gameplay experience. There’s also a 4 player battle mode with a few unlockable campaigns as well. Each character will fight in their unique style which will give a ton of diverse gameplay considering the 20 characters that’s playable.

There will be extras such as costumes, new moves, and more to unlock through your campaign experience so stay tuned for more details as we move closer to October for the release.
