NEWS:

EA Sports does it again with another hit title Fight Night Round 4. Now back in the development stages EA said that they were aiming for a level of realism that’s never been done before in the Fight Night Franchise, and yes they answered the call. The games graphical detail surpasses the tech demo shown back in ‘05 and the gameplay mechanics are so true to life and accurate.

Weight , Physics, Reach, Footwork, all these aspects that makes a boxer a boxer has been successfully implemented into this title, but through this process something has been taken out and that’s the Face button configuration style of gameplay.

This configuration is what gamers grew up on back when EA first released Knockout Kings but why is it that alot of developers instead of adding to the game, they take away certain things that should not be tampered with in the first place.

Considering the fact that Fight Night is on top of the charts will EA still release the face button patch or is it now a lost cause, because of the Mike Tyson Vs Muhammed Ali Hype which really sold this game commercially in a big way.

At the moment the Face Button patch is still coming why? the face button patch is in high demand to the point where gamers are willing to pay for it as a DLC bonus. According to a source at EA the patch is coming along with a new mode and a updated roster so stay tuned for more on Fight Night 4 in the coming weeks.

Please do not bring the face buttons back. The game is good with the configuration the way it is.

I think the face buttons will cause a problem with the counter system. Default settings are the best to go with any game.
