Smackdown 10 Has The Madden Syndrome Same Thing Every Year

Posted by hiphopgamer | Microsoft, Real Talk with the HipHopGamer, Sony | Friday 21 August 2009 9:38 pm

Another year another disappointment why? cause once again Smackdown is using a last generation dated engine which makes each year of the Smackdown franchise roughly the same.

New features is great too have and yes gamers crave it but we all want too see something new visually besides just new animations. A great example of this revelation is UFC: 2009 Undisputed this games looks, and plays, like a Next Generation Title and not like the old Dreamcast UFC games from back in the day.

The Madden Syndrome – is when you can actually compare ESPN NFL 2K5 a last generation game to a next genration game for consistent years in a row. Madden 2006,07,08,09, and 10 all have the same things in common New Features and Gameplay what about the 2005 trailer of Madden visually that we never got and still don’t have.

Smackdown 10 is no different why? because when this game is released it’s going to look roughly the same, the animations are going to be the same with a few new additions considering the update in rosters, New gameplay modes and stories which is all great but here’s the catch.

If all you going too do is update Features and Gameplay without a significant update in the graphics department and overall game engine why am I buying a new console when I can get damn near the same experience on my Playstation 2.

There’s tons of fans that love the Smackdown games including my self but enough is enough. Imagine A Smackdown game with UFC or Fight Night 4 graphics along with the new features and gameplay, that would seriously make a huge difference and impact for the franchise.

Smackdown 10 will be released this October and the newest addition to the features roster is creating your own person to take through the your own story mode with your own moves and having a brand new unique experience, that’s great and all but if that’s the new highlight of the game then Smackdown 10 will just be another Smackdown with a new number and great features.

Competiton makes for better games and competition will break the Madden Syndrome Cycle, TNA tried to do it but failed big time but there’s a RUMOR that a new wrestling game is coming and it’s possibly going too use the engine that powers UFC.

The tip actually came from THQ/Yukes because Smackdown team is different from the UFC team even though they are both under the same umbrella and the next WWE game may very well use the UFC engine so Smackdown 2011 may very well do the trick or Smackdown 12 considering the possibility that WWE smackdown may miss a year in gaming.

Tony Yayo Feels ‘A Little Sorry’ For Young Buck ” WATCH “

You can never say never, but the chances of the Beatles of hip-hop getting back together are looking very slim. Last month, Game apologized for the friction he stirred while being a member of the G-Unit, and just recently Young Buck went the same route. But could 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo ever find it in their hearts to embrace their lyrically potent onetime crew members?

“Shout to Young Buck,” Yayo said standing in the G-Unit offices earlier this week. “I wish you was with us, getting some money, living the life.”

Has Yayo’s stance actually softened towards Buck after all this time? His response to the Cashville rapper’s recent words on cyberspace was, “When I see it, I feel a little sorry for him, because he could be taking the same advantages I’m taking.
“Thisis50.com is the biggest hip-hop network out there — as well as the Web sites that come after it,” Yayo continued. “He could be taking advantage of it, but you don’t hear his mixtapes; you don’t see nothing from nowhere. I just wish that the guy thought better or was a better businessman, instead of just being a good rapper. You being disgruntled towards 50, now what do you have? You could have been with us in Peru. We went to Switzerland, Istanbul, we went everywhere man. I’m too real for the industry. Even if I was disgruntled about anything, I wouldn’t care, because I’m still getting money. Still got houses, still got cars, sprinklers still come out the ground. I think people get jealous of 50 of how big he is. You wake up, Mayor Bloomberg is talking about 50. Then in the New York Post, he had two pages. Then he was on Fox 5 [New York] news because we’re doing an event for the kids and grown-ups — August 30, come nice, in good behavior.

“But the thing is, a lot of artists don’t hit that plateau where they’re on CNN, on Fox 5,” Yayo said. “But what happens, when we’re around 50 and dudes is in the circles, dudes start to get mad jealous. They want 50’s money. That’s what happened with Game and Buck, there was no way they were supposed to mess up the money. That’s what they did, they started messing up the money.”

Yayo said the Unit could never take Game seriously because “Game is bipolar.” As for Buck, whom they knew a lot longer and were closer friends with, it doesn’t look like Yayo will be slapping him five anytime soon.

Mafia 2 Graphically Knocks GTA 4 Out The Box

Posted by hiphopgamer | Microsoft, Real Talk with the HipHopGamer, Sony | Friday 21 August 2009 11:26 am

Back in Janurary of 2004 a special title was released called Mafia. This game has some good gameplay mechanics, decent looking graphics, but what really stood out was the amazing story line and now with the upcoming release of Mafia 2 this game all around has really stepped up.

Mafia 2 was automatically considered a Grand Theft Auto clone along with other titles like True Crime: Streets Of LA/NY but this time around Mafia 2 stands on it’s own merits. The first thing everyone will notice is how amazing the graphics look in this game all real – time. In comparison to the blockbuster open world sandbox title GTA4 Mafia 2 Knocks the competition out the box in-terms of graphics and this is a great sign because the rest of the game looks just as good.

Mafia II tells the epic 10 year story of Vito, an Italian immigrant who arrives in the United States in the 1920’s. Poor and lacking necessary skills to make an honest living, he makes contact and begins doing work for an organized crime family. As the game goes through the ten year story line, Vito will move up the chain of command for the family, on his way to being a made man.

This game is looking too be really epic and with the right promotion, and gameplay mechanics this game will not only be great competition for the GTA series but a major franchise on it’s own.

Mafia 2 will be the game that steps out of the GTA shadow and show gamers that there’s more out there to choose from when it comes down too open world sandbox games with a GANGSTA Twist too it.
