Well i have a few friends at GAME which is the UK\’s leading games retailer. Anyway i was talking to a friend of mine who is the store manager of my local store and i asked him when the release date was for the UK and he said “OH SEPTEMBER 16th IS WHAT IVE BEEN TOLD” .

So i went around the building i was in and asked the deputy manager he said the same thing so i asked the marketing manager he said the same thing and then i went on to amazon UK and it said 16/10/09 so there you have it OCTOBER 16TH IS THE DATE FOR US IN THE UK

Hideo Kojima your a monster. Everybody that have a PSP should attempt to get this. The graphics from the trailers look amazing. I just hope it plays as good as it looks. At least, a 100 hours of game play? Now that is crazy. I cannot wait for this game.

The Sony PlayStation 3 is now priced at $299 and the Xbox 360 Elite is rumored to drop down to $299 essentially pricing the PS3 and 360 at the same price. I say this because the Arcade model priced at $199 currently sells less than the Pro model priced at $299, which is now the price of the PS3. With all of this said, many people are claiming that the PS3 will now outsell the 360 due to the price cut, but do people take the current lead in to mind?
