It was announced today via the PS blog that Sony will be releasing a new PSP bundle that will include the highly anticipated portable version of Gran Turismo. The bundle will include the following items:

• Mystic Silver PSP-3000 system
• Gran Turismo PSP game on UMD
• PlayStation Network downloadable voucher for a white Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, a color not available in the game and is exclusive to this entertainment pack
• 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
• PlayStation Network downloadable movie voucher – title TBD
• Sony MusicPass voucher good for 10 downloadable songs – available to U.S. residents only. Choose from hundreds of thousands of your favorite artists from Sony Music Entertainment.

I wonder why Sony would’nt bundle GT with the new PSP-GO because incase you people didn’t know Gran Turismo is the best selling franchise on the Playstation and  doing so would definetley help push the sales of the PSP GO. The new bundle will be released on Oct.20 for $199.99.

TRANSCRIPT:
“I say what I mean, [random gibberish.] Me and Jay had a battle, I got in his ass. I got in his ass, before he got signed. Niggas was there, niggas know. In a pool hall in the Bronx. I fucks with him and had respect for him after that. Until he became the president of Def Jam, and I ain’t gon say too much more about it, but you know what it is. There’s a difference between doing wrong and being wrong. At one point, you were being wrong.

Jay is a talented motherfucker, don’t misunderstand me. He is talented. But he has no heart. There’s no soul behind it. It’s motivated by money strictly… But I still maintain the respect, because our birthday is in the same month and you know, we have history. But I lost it when he became president of Def Jam, that’s why I left Def Jam. ‘

When you became the president, you hit me “yo dog, the inmates is running the building!!!” You know what that mean, your mans is in charge… “That’s what it is, we good,” cuz we had history. And then you go do that.

You come down, listen to my shit… we ready. Then you go on vacation. Niggas take a picture of you with chancletas on. That’s what you leave the hood for, son? That’s why you walk out on your man for, son? Flip-flops? Serious? You serious? Real talk son, I respected you. I’m in my feelings about that. I’m hurt. I ain’t ever talk about that. ”

UBISOFT’S FRAG DOLLS REACH OVER ONE MILLION TWITTER FOLLOWERS

All-Female Gaming Team Announces New Internship Program

SAN FRANCISCO – September 3, 2009 – Ubisoft is pleased to announce that its team of professional female gamers, the Frag Dolls, has surpassed one million followers on the Frag Dolls Twitter page (twitter.com/FragDolls), becoming the No. 1 video game related Twitter feed.

Started in 2004 by an open call for female gamers, the Frag Dolls is a team of women that can be found playing a variety of video games in every genre, from RPGs to FPS on all video game consoles and systems both online and offline. In addition to their passion for video games, the Frag Dolls are advocates for promoting the presence of females in the gaming industry.

“As Frag Dolls we have an incredible opportunity to combine our passion for gaming with our efforts to change the public’s perception of who plays video games,” comments Morgan Romine, captain of the Frag Dolls. “It’s exciting to see our fan base grow year after year.”

The Frag Dolls Become Mentors
The Frag Dolls are excited to introduce a new initiative this year called the Cadettes Program, which will provide internship opportunities to interested female gamers. Each semester the Frag Dolls will invite 12 new Cadettes to become involved with major initiatives for the Frag Dolls, including participating at industry events, being active members of the team’s online community, and of course competing in video game tournaments.

“Through their following on Twitter, their website, presence on TV and at major industry events, the Frag Dolls have become a trusted resource in gaming,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. “The Frag Dolls have helped destroy cultural stereotypes in the industry that only men play video games. With Ubisoft’s new Cadettes program, we hope that more and more females will join the gaming community.”
