Playstation Premium To Feature Games For Rent And More
When Sony announced that their PSN will have a paid subscription service tons of gamers were worried about the state of Sony’s decision to be free. The great thing is that you don’t have too pay for what you already get for free but for what you will be paying for in the future may very well be worth it.
Games for rent is just one of many features that could be arriving to Sony’s machine, and according to a Sony source they mean business with this paid subscription attempt for Playstation 3.

the premium service so far sounds fire dog, especially being able to rent games now thats gonna be a major point in getting the premium service along with other things in my opinion the home thing does sound pretty tight to be able to upload things like that, maybe will c videos like a walkthrough with hidden spots for secret collectibles or somtin to that extent. Also as for the betta performance of the online service like u said now that will b another major point to get the premium service as well, cause like you i wanna play against some 1 with a good connection to i dont want my character to b jerkin across the screen like an idiot.

Premium svc, would do great in NA, if and if only it came with something the likes of a PLAYTV. Renting PSN downloads versus Gamefly (triple A to third party “what haves”) does not compare, especially if competitively priced. It’s becoming really sad how Sony refuses to round out it’s media center abilities w/PS3. Tech geeks are constantly forced to figure it out on their own vs. 360 advertising anything and everything it can, it cannot, may never do. Likely a sign of opportunities encroaching on other investments, leaving Microsoft to continue being a leader by becoming the gatekeepers of internet/media. I.E. in 2010 bluray players will come out of the PS3’s shadow, giving one (big) reason less to buy a PS3. They’ve done well so far with Netflix, Pandora, Slacker, etc. and soon (better) pc streaming.
Not looking too good for Sony now to nex-gen era. And so, for us gamers too(in N.A.)
