What’s good gamers, we all will get an early preview of Dante’s adventure this December when the Dante’s Inferno demo hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. Check out the press release:

Coming this December, the ‘Gates of Hell’ demo includes the entire opening level and gives gamers a taste of Visceral Games’ blockbuster adaptation of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, The Divine Comedy.

The ‘Gates of Hell’ demo will introduce players to the game’s hero, epic story and intense action gameplay, tracing Dante’s battles from the surface all the way to the Gates of Hell. Players will experience fast-paced hack-n-slash combat as they fend off waves of enemies before taking on the ultimate battle against Death. After defeating this boss, Dante will be armed with Death’s scythe, a powerful holy cross, and will be ready to tear open the Gates of Hell. The demo also features two stunning cinematic movies made by Blur, the award-winning visual effects, animation and design studio.

“Our main goal from the start of this project has been to create a journey that will make gamers truly feel like they are going through hell,” said executive producer Jonathan Knight. “The demo will give everyone some insight into how we are treating the story and a taste of the gameplay. And with nine more circles of hell to explore once the game comes out in February, we are literally just scratching the surface.”

With the God of War 3 demo coming out this month and Dante’s Inferno coming next month, oh boy, what can I say.

NieR Replicant coming to PS3 and NieR Gestalt coming to Xbox 360

Well it appears the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be getting their own seperate version of Square Enix’s title NieR. Last week’s issue of Famitsu left many gamers confuse (especially PS3 owners) when it introduce the newly named title,NieR Gestalt coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 and not the PS3. The issue also displayed an ad of a new NieR title called, NieR Replicant, but they’re was no other information given.

Well ladies and gentleman, in the latest issue of Famitsu,  it’s confirm that NieR Replicant is coming to Sony’s PS3. According to Famitsu, NieR Replicant andNier Gestalt are both action RPGs set in the same world. However they differ in their main character and “other areas”. According to IGN, the magazine was bit unclear in the differences between the two games. Both games appear to have a character named NieR. Both versions will have their character attempting to find a cure for a another character who has a mysterious illness. In the 360version the sick person is NieR’s daughter. In the PS3 version, the sick person is NieR’s little sister and only living relative, named Yonah. IGN also stated that the PS3 version has girl name Keine and she serves as partner character toNieR.

As stated before, two games for each system doesn’t sound like a bad deal, I’m anxious to see how both titles will turn out. More information will be reveal on the Xbox version of NieR at next week’s TGS, so I will definitely keep everyone posted.

PS3 version of Bayonetta is not on par with the 360?

Over the weekend SEGA had an event in Tokyo, Roppongi called, “Feel Bayonetta”, which invited Japanese gamers to experience Bayonetta in all her glory. On August 31, 2009, one of the editors from 1up.com, posted an article stating that the PS3 version of Bayonetta was not looking as good as the Xbox 360. Here is what the editor stated:

“While the 360 version on display looked crisp and smooth, the PS3 version was very blurry and the framerate was all over the place. During one portion of the demo, a crazy scene where you are jumping off of falling parts of a giant clock tower, it was often hard to keep track of the action because of the graphical issues on PS3“. This is some very interesting news, seeing how Bayonetta is one month away from being released in Japan.

1up.com is the first to report these issues, but it’s still unclear how they were able to do a comparison between the two versions, while others were unable too. One of the editors from IGN stated that, “Attendees at the event were able to sample the E3 build. There was one big difference, though. SEGA debuted the PS3 version of the game alongside the 360 version. The press was limited to a 360 unit, unfortunately, so we’ll have to wait until that downloadable demo arrives to deliver comparisons.”

Now I’m confused, I don’t know who to believe. What do you guys think, do you think the guys from 1up.com accusations is legit or did they pull a stunt to gain a few more hits or their site?

Dark Void delayed until 2010

Another title bites the dust, Capcom’s Dark Void will now ship in fiscal fourth-quarter 2009, which begins January 1, 2010, to “avoid competition with releases of major titles of other companies.” I don’t know exactly what competition Capcom is referring too, seeing how every major title that was coming out this fall and holiday season was pushed back.

According to IGN, Senior Director Chris Kramer informed them that the reason for the delay will the company “enhance” the game. Kramer also stated, ”Dark Void is moving into Capcom’s fiscal Q4 in order to get the game out of the crowded fall game season and to allow the development team more time to polish and enhance the game experience.”

Dark Void was definitely one of the highlights at this year’s past E3. The games make use of a new “vertical cover system”, as well as a standard cover system. The game will include a hover pack, and later, a jetpack, allowing for a quick transition between traditional shooter gameplay and flight.
